What Makes a Grounds Service Supervisor?
As a key member of the leadership team, the Grounds Service Supervisor is accountable for the Beach, pool, and parking areas. While the focus is to guide the operation of the Beach experience, you also serve as the lead supervisor during the day. The Grounds Service Supervisor is committed to guest satisfaction and providing a great experience for all guests.
A Day in the Life:
- You will be responsible for assisting with the overall performance of the property’s beach, pool and parking areas, including guest satisfaction, Beach cleanliness and upkeep.
- You will supervise the daily operations of the beach staff and parking attendants including the supervision of collecting fees, daily set up, and daily consistent upkeep.
- You will be responsible for the daily scheduling of attendants while staying in budgeted goals- to include covering shifts in the event of call offs/rain days.
- You will assist with the implementation of beach programs to enhance the experience and provide leisure enjoyment for the guests.
- You will inspect and ensure that safety and security standards are being maintained.
- You will support guest experience and satisfaction in all beach operations ensuring problem resolution.
- You will ensure all equipment is in proper working order and fully stocked.
Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
- Scheduling flexibility
- The ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs. regularly
- The ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- The ability to withstand working in a beach environment
- The ability work in all types of weather environments
